So if you have not seen the announcement on FB or LJ (and you very well might not have) the news is this: Amanda and I are splitting up.  This is not a sudden thing, it's a mutual decision arrived at after a lot of thinking, and it is not easy.  We're not rushing, but by next summer we will have separate lives.

Now the question is: what does that mean for Adventurotica?  Well, as you might guess, the campaign for The Demon Star, with its Amanda-free list of perks, was a kind of trial run.  I wanted to see how people took to the idea of a campaign run entirely by me, and fulfilled by me.  Because the truth is I want to keep what we have going here.  I want to continue.

Now, that means that any further perks will be done by me and me only.  Sadly, this removes Mandy's awesome artistry from the mix.  But there are all kinds of things I can do that I just have not been doing, because she could do them better.  Now I have to step up and learn to do them better.  No more division of labor.

However, that does not mean that the old stuff is not going to get done, I promise you it will.  I know we have fallen behind, but we will catch up.  I call your attention to the fact the the ebook of The Demon Star was out a month after the campaign closed, and the print book is in process and I am committed to getting those out in October.  New perks will be quick, while the old stuff gets fulfilled.  We will get everyone the stuff they wanted, I promise.

I have an idea for the next book, and it could be done as porn or as non-porn.  Really, I'm curious to know what people think.

Short answer: Adventurotica will continue, if you want it to.
